Entercept AI Ltd ("Entercept", "we", "us") provides independent assurance services for AI systems. For the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, Entercept is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and in the course of pre-contract enquiries.

What we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and to operate this website. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
- Contact details you submit through the contact or demo forms: name, work email address, organisation, role and the content of your message.
- Correspondence you send us by email, and our replies.
- Limited technical data generated when you visit the site, such as the pages requested and approximate region, used to keep the site available and secure.
Why we process it
We rely on the following lawful bases under UK GDPR Article 6.
- Legitimate interests - responding to business enquiries, arranging demonstrations and maintaining the security and availability of this website.
- Contract - where processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement, or to perform one.
- Legal obligation - where we must retain records to meet statutory or regulatory requirements.
Form submissions
Contact and demo requests submitted through this website are transmitted to and processed by Formspree, our form-handling provider, before reaching our inbox. Formspree processes this data on our behalf as a processor under a data processing agreement.
Submitting a form sends the information you enter to that provider. Please do not include confidential system details, security findings or special category data in a web form. We will arrange a secure channel for anything sensitive.
Assessment data
Where we carry out an assurance engagement, the handling of any data we access is governed by the engagement agreement and its data processing terms, not by this policy. Assessments are scoped to minimise access to personal data, and we prefer synthetic or de-identified inputs wherever an assessment can be performed with them.
In those engagements Entercept normally acts as a processor on behalf of the client, and the scope, retention period and security measures are agreed in writing before any access is granted.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is retained for up to 24 months from our last exchange, so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. Records connected to a contract are retained for as long as required for legal, tax and professional-record purposes, and then deleted.
Sharing
We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract (currently our form-handling provider, our email provider and our website host), and with professional advisers or authorities where we are legally required to do so.
Where a provider processes data outside the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object at any time.

Cookies
This website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and it does not run third-party analytics that profile visitors. If that changes, this policy will be updated and, where required, consent will be requested before any non-essential cookie is set.
